Harris has completed its largest value contract to date, Project Skyfall, for Britvic Soft Drinks Limited, at Swinnow Lane, Bramley, Leeds.
The works involved the Design and Construction of New Extensions and Alterations to the Existing Buildings and Staff Car Park, New Lorry Park and New Water Treatment Plant Building at the facility. The works were undertaken within a restricted and continuously operational environment.
Project Skyfall, which involves a total capital expenditure of £35 million, is an integral part of Britvic’s drive to improve their facilities to meet the demands of a challenging and competitive commercial climate. The equipment for the new production line at Leeds is capable of producing 76,000 litres of J2O an hour, increasing the output by 30 million units per annum. This new production line was installed into what was an empty warehouse.
