harris cm has secured a new contract worth £12 million with soft drinks giant Britvic Soft Drinks Limited.
The contract award is the latest new business win for Harris Group, and is in addition to the
£20 million worth of contracts the firm has won since the start of the year.
This latest contract will see our team working at the Glebe Farm complex in Rugby building a number of extensions, covering 8,000 m2, which will allow Britvic to replace two of the existing production lines with one single line that will provide the equivalent output, but with significant energy savings and waste reduction.”
The construction works will also help to strengthen Britvic’s position in the UK soft drinks market by creating space for the installation of two new robotic manufacturing lines, enabling the site’s production capacity to be increased by 25% to 120,000 cans per hour.
Britvic is one of the largest suppliers of both still and carbonated soft drinks in the UK and produces brands including Robinsons, Tango and J20.
