Harris were employed by the High Point Estates for a prestigious refurbishment of a five bedroom detached house. The project involved;
- Extending the existing building
- Raising the existing parapet and roof line to increase headroom
- Gutting and re-configuring the internal layout of the existing house
- Replacing all windows and external doors
The structure incorporated three different envelopes which proved challenging to fit the new extension into, however we have had extremely positive feedback in regards to this area of the structure. The project was negotiated due to the work we have done in the area and based upon our portfolio of other prestigious project we have undertaken. All works were undertaken to a very high and bespoke specification.
This project involved the design & build of 13 new homes at a prestigious address within a Conservation Area to the North of Harrogate Town Centre.
The formerly derelict Granville House, a 19th century Victorian Villa, was refurbished and renovated to provide four new two bedroomed apartments, and a new three storey building was built to the rear of the site, creating a further nine two bedroomed apartments.
Completed in accordance with Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, the finished works included sustainability measures such as rainwater harvesting, internal clothes airing and special features to accommodate nesting birds and bats.
The works were undertaken to provide a new sales and service facility for the Mini brand in the car park of the existing BMW dealership which remained open throughout the course of the works.
The design and build of a new steel framed building to provide a new Harley Davidson dealership and life-style range showroom, with integral workshops, bike lifts and an external bike wash.
The works were undertaken on a site immediately adjacent to the railway line between Nottingham and Newark and were therefor subject to continuous scrutiny to ensure that all Network Rail’s specific health and safety requirements were satisfied.
Refurbishment and remodelling of a Grade II Listed Gymnasium and Old School House to provide meeting areas, reception facilities, a fitness suite, snack bar, drama and dance studio.
